Do you offer overnight services? We provide an overnight home care service for 10-12 hours, ensuring all your needs are met and your home appears occupied while attending to your beloved pets. This specialized service falls outside of our regular service hours and is priced accordingly. It may not be suitable for everyone. For those seeking a different but equally attentive option, we offer Customizable Drop-In Visits. This alternative provides the same level of care and can be tailored to your specific requirements. Choose from 15, 30, or 45-minute visits to safeguard your home and pets during your absence. If you need a longer visit, we can discuss Extended Care options. During pet visits, we offer ample affection, feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks/litter box cleaning, and administration of oral medications if needed. Brushing services are also available upon request. Home care includes tasks like collecting mail, watering plants, adjusting lights, TVs, and radios, occasional presence outside the house, and garbage disposal. Our main aim is to create the impression that your home is occupied while you're away.

Can I tip my pet sitter / personal assistant? It's always appreciated when you reward your pet sitter or personal assistant for a job well done. You can do this by leaving a tip directly on your invoice or mailing it to our office at the following address: Denise’s Helping Hands, P.O. Box 6561, Huntington, WV 25772. Do I really need to give you a key to my home?To ensure that we can provide the best possible pet sitting or house sitting service, we require one key to your home. This is true even if we enter through an electric garage door or a door code. Please note that in the event of garage door malfunctions, a key is necessary for us to access your home. We understand the importance of keeping your key safe and secure, which is why we store it in an undisclosed location that is not tagged with your personal information. If you are uncomfortable with providing a key, you may choose to purchase a lockbox. It is important to understand that we are not responsible for any lockbox failures that may occur. If you do not provide us with a key or lockbox, you will be liable for any locksmith charges that may arise. After the service is complete, many of our clients prefer that we store their keys in our company safe for future visits. This allows for easy access without requiring a key pickup. Please note that we do not leave keys behind on the final visit in case you are delayed returning home. Key pickups and drop-offs may incur additional charges.

Our clients love the convenience of having their pet's routines clearly documented in our online portal. This allows us to customize our care to meet each pet's unique needs and guarantees that their care instructions are accurately followed. May I ask why you prefer not to allow cat visits every other day?We understand the importance of saving money, but we believe that daily care of your cat while you're away is crucial. Here are a few reasons why this is essential: Cats can accidentally lock themselves in a room without access to food and water. Cats need human interaction, and it's not healthy for them to be left alone for extended periods of time. Many cats will not drink water that is not fresh, and dehydration can quickly become a serious issue. Cats are prone to kidney infections, and your pet sitter is trained to recognize changes in your cat's behavior that could indicate a medical issue. We want the best for your cat, and having a professional pet sitter visit your home is an affordable and convenient solution. Your cat gets to stay in a familiar environment while receiving all the attention it needs, and you receive daily photo updates from your sitter.
